POP X

Challenge: Can we design a 10’ x 10’ pop up structure? Can it be a shelter for art work that can be assembled at a mass scale in a matter of hours, all while being accessible, and meeting building codes?

Challenge accepted. We designed the POP X pavilions to be easily built and and deployed without special skills or tools. By bringing together off the shelf products together mixed with some CNC cut materials we were able to create a totally unique and whimsical experience for the public to enjoy. After a two year run, the pavilions were auctioned off. Keep an eye out around Ann Arbor they are now permanent part of a few backyards.
